Where Does Kian Lawley Live Now?
Los Angeles Is His Home Base
The simplest and best-supported answer is Los Angeles, California. Lawley grew up in California and has lived and worked in the Los Angeles area throughout his adult career. That is not surprising. Los Angeles is the center of film, television, and creator-economy work in the United States, and most of the people he collaborates with are based there too.
The Sherman Oaks Reports
Some home-focused and celebrity-property websites say Lawley and his partner, Ayla Woodruff, live in Sherman Oaks. These reports describe a newly built, contemporary family house in the neighborhood.
We want to be careful here. We could not confirm those details through major news outlets, public interviews or statements from Lawley himself. Specific claims about a purchase price, the size of the house, or the interior layout appear mainly on smaller websites and are not backed by sources we can verify. For that reason, this article treats Sherman Oaks as a reported location, not a confirmed one.
Why We Do Not Publish an Address
Lawley is a public figure because of his videos and acting, but his home is still a private family residence. He lives there with his partner and young children. Publishing a street address, even if one appears on another website, can expose a family to unwanted visitors and safety risks. Responsible celebrity-home coverage should respect that boundary, so this article will not include an address, map pin, or photos of a private house.
About Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles
Since Sherman Oaks is the neighborhood most often linked to Lawley, it helps to understand why it appeals to entertainment figures.
Location
Sherman Oaks is in the San Fernando Valley, on the northern side of the Santa Monica Mountains. It sits between Studio City and Encino, and the commercial heart of the area runs along Ventura Boulevard. Depending on traffic, Hollywood and many major studios are within a short drive, which makes the neighborhood practical for people in film, television,n and online media.
Lifestyle
The area is known for tree-lined residential streets, family-friendly parks, restaurants and shopping along Ventura Boulevard, and the foothills near Mulholland Drive. Compared with Beverly Hills or Bel Air, the Valley generally offers more space and lower prices, which is one reason young families often choose it.
Other Well-Known Residents and Purchases
Sherman Oaks has long attracted entertainment names. Robb Report reported that Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay paid $2.5 million for a nearly 4,000-square-foot home there. Trulia reported that singer Kelly Rowland bought a Sherman Oaks house for $3.45 million, and actress Kaley Cuoco has also owned a home in the neighborhood. These examples show that Sherman Oaks is a recognized choice for working entertainers who want privacy and room for family.
Why Los Angeles Makes Sense for Kian Lawley
Several reasons explain why Lawley has stayed in Southern California:
- Career infrastructure. Studios, talent agencies, casting offices, and production companies are all in the region. His acting work, auditions, and brand deals are easier to manage from Los Angeles.
- Creator community. Many YouTubers and online personalities live in the Los Angeles area, which makes collaboration simple. His long partnership with JC Caylen is one example.
- Roots in California. He moved to California early in life, so Southern California is effectively home.
- Family life. With a partner and two young sons, a calm residential neighborhood with parks and schools nearby is a sensible choice.
- Weather and lifestyle. Year-round sunshine suits outdoor filming and a relaxed routine.
Kian Lawley’s Early Life and Move to California
Lawley was born in Iowa, but his family moved to California when he was young. He grew up with siblings, and several of them have appeared in his videos or on social media over the years.
That California upbringing shaped his career. He started making videos as a teenager at a time when YouTube was still new, and living in Southern California gave him early access to other young creators. The early collaborative group Our2ndLife helped build his audience, and it later led to the KianAndJc channel, which became his main platform.
Kian Lawley’s Family and Home Life
Lawley has been in a relationship with influencer and YouTuber Ayla Woodruff since 2019. The couple has two sons, born in 2023 and 2026, according to his Wikipedia entry. The family has shared occasional glimpses of daily life on social media, but they keep their home itself out of the spotlight.
Because of that, we cannot say anything verified about room layouts, design style, or decor. Anyone offering a detailed room-by-room tour of his house should be treated with caution unless they cite a clear source, such as an official listing, an interview, or a photo shared by Lawley himself.
What Is Confirmed and What Is Not
| Question | Status |
|---|---|
| Lives in the Los Angeles area | Well supported |
| Lives in Sherman Oaks | Reported by smaller sites, not confirmed by Lawley |
| Exact address | Private |
| Purchase price and year | Not verified by sources we trust |
| Interior design and room details | Not publicly shared |
| Lives with partner and sons | Supported by public profile information |
Being clear about this matters for readers and for search engines. Pages that present guesses as facts can spread incorrect information, and that creates trust problems for the websites that publish them.
What Creator-Friendly Homes Usually Include
While we do not know the details of Lawley’s own space, many YouTubers and streamers design their homes around creative work. If you are planning a home that supports content creation, these common features are worth considering:
- A dedicated work room. A quiet room for editing, podcasting, or streaming keeps work separate from family areas.
- Good natural light. Large windows reduce the need for heavy lighting and make video calls and filming easier.
- Sound control. Rugs, curtains, and soft furniture reduce echo in recording spaces.
- Reliable internet wiring. A wired connection in the office is more stable than Wi-Fi for uploads and live streams.
- Flexible storage. Cameras, lights, and props need hidden storage so the living areas stay tidy.
- Outdoor space. A patio or garden gives creators and families somewhere to relax away from screens.
Final Thoughts
So, where does Kian Lawley live? The best-supported answer is the Los Angeles area of Southern California, with some outlets pointing to Sherman Oaks as his neighborhood. His exact address remains private, as it should, and many of the finer details about his house are not backed by reliable sources.
What is clear is the bigger picture. Lawley grew up in California, built his career there, and now appears to be raising a young family in the same region.
